About Jürgen Dirr - Carpenter & Woodworker on Orcas Island

I'm Jürgen, originally from Bavaria, Germany. Moving to the US and building something of my own was a dream I carried for a long time. In 2022 I started in Sandpoint, Idaho. In January 2024, I found my place on Orcas Island.

I've been working in carpentry and custom woodworking for over 25 years.
New construction, interior and exterior remodeling, home renovations, custom furniture, floor installation, staircases, kitchens, saunas - even international trade fair builds back in Germany. The range keeps growing.

What matters to me is getting it right. I work with the standards I learned back home in Germany, combined with whatever technique or innovation fits the job best. Every project gets a solution that's built around what you actually need - not a template.
